Austria: Politician Acquitted in Mosque Game Trial
A court has found right-wing Austrian politician Gerhard Kurzmann not guilty of charges of incitement for posting a video game that required players to target and stop mosques, minarets and muezzins as they appear on a screen.
Also acquitted was Alexander Segert, the head of a Swiss advertising company that designed the game.
The game — called "Moschee Baba," Austrian German dialect for "See yah, mosque," was posted online and sparked widespread criticism. It was commissioned as part of campaigning for regional elections last year.
