Homans called to account in parliamentary committee upon mosque closure

The Flemish Home Affairs Minister, Liesbeth Homans (New Flemish Alliance) is expected to attend the Flemish parliament this Monday.
She will be explaining her decision to close the Fatih mosque in the city of Beringen, located within the province of Limburg.
The President of the Home Affairs Committee, Mercedes van Volcem (Open VLD) will also invite the Belgian State Security Service to present its relevant report in camera. Ms Homans based her decision in respect of the mosque on the contents of this report.
