Amazon axes 'sexy burka' costume amid complaints it is racist
by Jamie Bullen
Amazon has axed a "sexy burka" party dress advertised on its website after complaints it was racist.
The online retail giant has removed the black cropped dress which came with a plunging neckline and was modelled by a white woman amid outrage from customers.
Described as a "gorgeous sexy outfit made from a lovely soft stretch material", the frock was advertised for sale at £18.99 plus free delivery.
But customers were quick to condemn the garment as "racist" before it was pulled from the website.
