A teacher who worked at two schools linked to the so-called Trojan Horse scandal stopped pupils from playing football and instead forced them to pray in the playground, it has been claimed.
Maths teacher Wakass Haruf is accused of agreeing with parents, teachers and governors to allow an undue amount of religious influence on the education of pupils at both Golden Hillock and Park View schools.
The schools were among five in Birmingham that were plunged into special measures in April last year by Ofsted.
