Former 'Trojan Horse' headteacher was 'goaded' out by governors, hearing told A witness giving evidence at a professional conduct hearing said Matthew Scarrott was pushed out of the former Golden Hillock School in Sparkhill
The former headteacher of a Birmingham school at the heart of the Trojan Horse scandal was goaded by governors and eventually resigned, it has been claimed.
A witness giving evidence at a National College of Training & Leadership (NCTL) professional conduct hearing said Matthew Scarrott was pushed out of the former Golden Hillock School in Sparkhill.
Mr Scarrott left the school under a compromise agreement in March 2013, and was "unable to actually do his job as principal" because of governors' frequent questioning, said the anonymous witness.
