Governor 'policed' school prom to spot pupils in relationships, hearing told Razwan Faraz is one of 10 teachers facing disciplinary hearings over their alleged conduct at schools at the heart of the so-called Trojan Horse plot
A teacher accused of including an "undue amount of religious influence" at three Birmingham academies policed a school prom to spot pupils in romantic relationships, a hearing was told.
Razwan Faraz turned up at the Year 11 prom at Golden Hillock School in Sparkhill to see if the "situation was being managed", it has been claimed.
Mr Faraz, a governor at the school for eight years from 2005, felt the prom "needed monitoring for any potential relationship between male and female pupils", said former headteacher Matthew Scarrott.
