A High Court judge is set to decide whether to order a new election in Tower Hamlets after claims the borough's controversial mayor Lutfur Rahman seized power through electoral fraud.
Judge Richard Mawrey QC will hand down his verdict on Thursday after a 10 week hearing at the Royal Courts of Justice.
A group of four residents called for last May's mayoral election, in which Mr Rahman triumphed over Labour rival John Biggs after running under the Tower Hamlets First banner, to be declared void and re-run.
