Amir Khan: I'm more British than Ukip In a wide-ranging interview, the champion boxer also reveals how David Cameron and Hillary Clinton stepped in to stop him being stopped at airport immigration
Amir Khan, the boxer, has disclosed how the Prime Minister and Hillary Clinton both personally intervened to stop him being repeatedly interrogated at airport immigration whenever he flew.
Khan, who is Muslim, had been "pulled aside" for questioning at immigration each time he travelled, after terror attacks led to increased security fears.
The boxer, from Bolton, has told how Clinton and David Cameron independently stepped in to help him, telling him to "leave it with them".
