Governor with 'Trojan horse' links to open new free school
by Caroline Wheeler
A governor with links to an alleged "Trojan horse" school is behind plans to open a new Muslim free school in Birmingham, the Sunday Express can reveal.
Assad Hamed was the chair-man of governors at Moseley School when headteacher Dave Peck was ousted by a small group of Muslim governors in 2008.
Now he is involved in plans to open the Ittihad Free School in Sparkbrook in Birmingham.
