An Islamic centre south of Brisbane has condemned the "traitorous actions" of an insider who exposed its ties to firebrand Perth preacher Mohammed Junaid Thorne.
The Courier-Mail revealed on Saturday the iQraa Islamic Centre at Underwood this year "promoted" and helped raise funds for two "sermons" by Thorne, a vocal supporter of jihad.
The centre also hosted a lecture called "The Muslim Community and ASIO – What you need to know" in which advice was given about the legal obligations of co-operating with the security organisation.
