Protest march against Christian persecution
Austria's Turkish Cultural Community (TKG) is calling on its members and sympathizers to join a peaceful protest march against the persecution of Iraqi Christians through Vienna's city centre on Sunday.
"No matter what religion we belong to, we must not close our eyes and hearts to the genocide in Iraq," it said in a press release on Thursday.
Islamic State (IS) militants have seized Qaraqosh, Iraq's biggest Christian town, prompting members of the Yazidi community to flee.
