Dismissal could end Murfreesboro mosque cemetery case
A judge dismissed a lawsuit against the Islamic Center of Murfreesboro cemetery approval Thursday, and a supporter of the plaintiffs indicated the case may be over.
"You can't appeal," said Lou Ann Zelenik, a retired co-owner of a construction business who was prepared to be an expert witness for the plaintiffs concerning development issues related to the soils and traffic at the ICM located on Veals Road off Bradyville Pike. "We're done. I just hope there's no significant drainage problems and no big accident on Bradyville Pike."
Former Tennessee Attorney General Paul Summers, who is now a senior judge, dismissed the case.
