Governors face axe from Whitechapel school at centre of radical Islam claims
by Anna Davis, Nicholas Cecil, and Matt Watts
A primary school in London facing concerns over alleged Islamist radicalism links is set to have its entire governing body replaced.
Tower Hamlets council is due to seek permission from Education Secretary Michael Gove to impose an interim executive board to run Kobi Nazrul Primary School in Whitechapel.
The move comes after exam results plummeted last year and there was a bust-up between the school and the local education authority.
