Twenty-five schools are being investigated in connection with alleged plot by hardline Muslims to seize control of Birmingham schools, the leader of the city council has announced.
Sir Albert Bore said a special adviser has been appointed to help investigate the 'Trojan Horse' allegations.
Former head teacher, Ian Kershaw, has been appointed as the city's new chief adviser on Trojan Horse and will work on a full-time basis for the next six months.
