Derby's controversial Muslim free school Al-Madinah - branded "dysfunctional" by inspectors - will be told to fire its board of trustees or have its state funding scrapped, according to the Sunday Times.
The national newspaper said Education Secretary Michael Gove, is understood to be taking the measure against the school next week.
Al-Madinah, which has sites in Friar Gate and Nelson Street, with 416 pupils aged four to 16, is a free school and is answerable directly to the Government.
