Wonga shirt row resolved between Newcastle and Papiss Cisse
by Niall Hickman
Papiss Cisse's Wonga row with Newcastle has been resolved and last season's Tyneside top scorer will be staying at St James' Park.
Cisse missed out on the Magpies' pre-season tour to Portugal after refusing to wear club kit featuring the payday loan company's branding, claiming it would be contrary to his Muslim faith.
But Cisse used his social media site yesterday to claim he would be in Newcastle's line-up for Sunday's friendly at Blackpool, another club sponsored by Wonga.
