Tucson schools receive grant for Arabic language studies

Two Tucson schools have received funding to grow their Arabic language programs.
Safford K-8 Magnet School and Cholla High Magnet School received a $465,000 grant to be used in the schools' International Baccalaureate programs, which includes world language studies.
TUSD has received a previous $55,000 Arabic language grant to be used for classroom materials and curriculum development.
