Halal costs threaten beef exports to Indonesia

Meat processors say a large increase in the cost of certifying meat as halal will jeopardise meat exports to Indonesia.
Indonesia's authority MUI has delisted several Australian halal certifying bodies this year leaving Queensland with just one halal certifying body.
Sources have told the ABC that those charges are said to be 300 per cent higher than other companies.
