Acid attack victim Naomi Oni denies she harmed herself as two people are arrested
by Justin Davenport and Rashid Razaq
Detectives investigating an acid attack on a shop assistant have made two arrests, as the victim denied claims that she may have inflicted the injuries on herself.
Police arrested a man aged 28 and a woman of 21 in connection with the assault on Victoria's Secret worker Naomi Oni, who spent a month in a burns unit and has been left partially blinded.
Today she told the Standard she felt "hurt and angry" after learning that detectives are investigating whether she is lying about the attack, which she claims was carried out by somebody wearing a Muslim niqab.
