A man accused of murdering his wife's lover in an honour killing lost his self-control during a confrontation that was supposed to be his last chance to save his marriage, a Sydney jury has been told.
When Hazairin Iskandar set out to confront Mohd Shah Saemin in February 2010, he was provoked by Mr Saemin's "arrogant, in-your-face, I-don't-care attitude", Iskandar's murder trial heard on Thursday.
Mr Saemin, known as Shah, died after he was attacked by Iskandar and his son Andrew outside his Leichhardt flat in Sydney's inner west on the night of February 21, 2010.
